Polyphenols and the Mighty Maple

Posted by Barbara Mansfield on

Maple is rich in polyphenols--whether you extract from sap, syrup, leaves or bark. Polyphenols are plant compounds that act as antioxidants--the tannins in tea are on example of such compounds. Topically, polyphenols can help repair and rejuvenate your skin. Studies indicate that using polyphenols on your skin may help protect it from cancer and other forms of sun damage. We have maple extracts, from Catskills trees, in our gentle Exfoliating Face Mask. And now we have a new Maple Cardamom soap with maple extracts. In addition to having polyphenols and other skin nutrients, this bar smells like pure Catskills.

We created this soap for Howland House and it's been so hard to keep in stock that we are just now getting around to listing this bar. if you want a signature scent created for your business, we offer your choice exclusive or non-exclusive agreement for your brand's aroma. Email Babs at phoeniciasoap@gmail.com if you would like a consultation in 2024.
